There are three main inputs that required to poultry project.

 1. Vaccines: Currently, the rate at which indigenous and commercial chicken are vaccinated during their lifetime is approximately 22%8 and 100% respectively

 2. Ethical Products: Ethical products are those which provide medical benefits to the animal. These include anthelminthic, biotics, antibiotics and anti-protozoa. These are used for controlling certain diseases as may be necessary in the growth of poultry.

 3. Nutritionals: These are feeds, feed supplements, vitamins and minerals which are the bulk of cost of raising poultry. Poultry Feed is typically fish or soya based, plus maize meal. Vitamins and mineral additives are also included in this category.
